Karunanidhi’s political party puts off Nimbe Huli release?
Hemanth Hegde's film Nimbe Huli, which was scheduled to release on December 25, will not make a Christmas release. According to reports, DMK (Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam) party members say that the film portrays their leader, Karunanidhi, and his daughter Kannimozhi in bad light. However, the team of Nimbe Huli says that except for a character named Karuna Ranga (played by Bullet Prakash) who looks a little like Karunanidhi, there is no other resemblance to the politician. Following the recent protests in Tamil Nadu, there has been a stay order on the film's release. However, reliable sources say the matter shouldn't last too long and the film should be out by December 31.
